Nygus
A lone shadow stood in the center of many trees - which seemed to be burnt beyond salvation. Its lush pelt, for the most part, blended in with the ever so darkening night. The casted shadow moved as the figure turned its head to view its surroundings.
Nygus enjoyed the scent of the forrest she saw lost in - a slightly charred smell. The smell was also that of the flames that the Men lit. She also liked the scenery of the charred and burnt beyond repair trees. The younger she-wolf set one paw in front of the other, taking large and bold steps forwards.
"Thank Tor I was able to get lost here of all places!" Nygus was a wolf that always ended up getting lost, no matter where she was! Also, there was the fact that the she-wolf was stubborn as hell and would never admit the fact that she actually had gotten lost. Nygus let her almost-white eyes wander around, skimming the area around her.
With a sharp grin, showing all of the she-wolf's needle-like teeth, Nygus watched as she moved deeper and deeper into the forest. "Lovely . . ." she murmured, a joyful tint to her voice. The malicious black and white wolf couldn't help but feel at home when she gazed at the burn and charred plants.
As Nygus moved along, farther and deeper into the forest, she scented something slightly different from the other scents that bombarded her nose. Silver orbs flickered around, and lingered on a moving object. Nygus crept towards what she suspected to be her new, late-night snack, and pounced.
As Nygus landed on her 'prey', she heard a squeak. Nygus quickly lifted herself, and looked down. On the ground was a small, almost tiny, scrap of fur. Nygus nudged it, and then took a quick-as-lightning step backwards. The scrap moved ever-so-slightly, and then barked something quietly. Nygus let out a stressed growl as she nudged the leap of flesh.
"I am way too nice sometimes!" she grumbled, about to lift the cub into her mouth. But before she did that, the she-wolf let out a blood-curtling, spooky howl. It read; This is my territory! Cross into it, and your throat gets torn out and your pelt hung from a tree branch to decorate my home!
Nygus felt a wicked smirk form on her lips, and the she-wolf picked up the small cub and started to trot around, looking for a shelter to sleep.
